Yes, It’s serious stuff. Wolf’s words about depression and suicide make for serious reading, but it’s worth it.
As a long-term supporter I can kind of empathise with the words.
I wrote (as some will know) a pretty long few posts about our personal situation.
Much has improved since then but I haven’t been able to write the updates in a format that makes sense.
Maybe one day I’ll figure it out and post it.
The Money Programme: E-mail is ruining my life! BBC2 at 1900 on Friday, 7 March.
Could be an interesting show to watch. The BBC report reckons that one FTSE company lost £39m with its staff having to deal with unwanted and spam emails.
Another organisation implemented “e-mail free Wednesday” where the employees couldn’t send anything on that day. The report doesn’t mention how they implemented this though. Did they expect users to obey the rule or put a restriction in place? Perhaps they just turned the Exchange server off!
Whatever, as long as I remember I will sit and watch the show tonight.
Audi is the new BMW. I can’t stand Beemer drivers but this TG article is putting Audi drivers in the same band.
Whatever, I guess I am a “slack-jawed Stella drinker” as I love the R8. But I don’t like Stella and I really do try not to be slack-jawed. I don’t really know what it means but can guess that it’s not a good thing!
I have never been a great fan of the guy or his work ethics, but the cars? Damn.

Quite simply stunning. This guy has used carbon fibre, copper pipe and aluminium amongst other products to create an awesome ICE install.
I will probably never have the skills to create something like this, but damn am I going to try! Anybody want to give me a Mini so I can “create”? No? Oh, I have three I can play with…

The software giant has released a list of programs that may be broken by the SP1 update for Vista.
Most of the software hit by the upgrade are security programs that prevent Windows users falling prey to viruses, trojans and booby-trapped webpages.
Yet another reason not to use Vista then!
Wolfie posted that one of the best Anti-Spam plugins, Defensio, has just been updated.
I have been using it for a month or so now and am more than happy with it.
If you’re still using Akismet, seriously consider switching. Unfortunately, you can’t run Akismet and Defensio on the same WordPress install.
